Group warm up. I don't usually do a warmup before a NavDash event, but I probably should be doing this more. It helped to loosen up my leg muscles, which have been a bit sore and stiff all week.

NavDash at Gosnells. tRicky lined up behind me at the start, so the pressure was on to not lose time early on and get caught. Had Riley Martin (1 min) and Lucy (2 min) in front of me, so I tried to chase them down. Passed them both at #4 by taking a more direct route. Didn't get the best route on the way to #5, but still not sure what would have been fastest with that footbridge and several fences awkwardly in the way. Should probably also have taken the more direct option climbing the slope through the white on the way to #12. Altogether though, it was a very fluent run. I planned ahead well. Just felt the lack of fitness in the second half. tRicky never caught me, but beat me by about 20 seconds.
