40 minute score course at Perry Lakes/Bold Park without tracks on the map (except for the junctions that the controls were on). If only I would have had a quick look at the map beforehand, I could have saved myself a lot of trouble, but I hadn't and had no idea which ways the tracks in the west part of the map were going. That actually made it quite fun. On the very first junction where I wasn't sure I picked the wrong way, but figured out soon enough that the track was turning the wrong way. Things went much worse when I got to a junction thinking it was the one with control 20, when it actually was an unmapped junction a bit further northwest. Left that junction in the wrong direction. At first the contours still seemed to make sense, later not anymore, but I didn't want to turn around and thought a little loop would probably get me back on track. It was actually quite a long detour and I needed some relocation skills to work out where I had gone. Knew I was going to be back late, but couldn't resist still going down the fun narrow track to pick up control 9. Then pushed fairly hard over the last 2 km, but still got back 2.5 minutes late.
