I originally wasn't happy with a pace of 8 min/km but its not that bad considering that I lost 1:15-1:30 while looking for control 3 too early and that taking the trails around added a significant amount of distance (200 m on one leg and 300 m on another). |

| Model event, Long Lake map. I got controls 16, 15, 13, 12 & 14 in that order. I was slow but had no problems on 16 and 15. I lost ~7:00 wandering around near 13, took about 45:00 to get to 12 (my pace was about 107 min/km on that leg) and had had enough after I found 14. |
