| Slower parts of the run. Nice, warm morning. Ran up the river along nice snowmobile tracks to the first bridge. There weren't any tracks past the bridge, so I didn't carry on along the river. Went along the roads instead to the second bridge, where I saw some old tracks leading upstream. Followed them for a couple minutes until they ended at a large fallen tree. Then went back to the second bridge, along the roads to the first bridge, and back along the river. Took a bunch of pictures, and they're on my site. |

| Was going to do my usual route in the park, but decided against that when I saw that the parking lot hadn't been plowed. Ran back and forth along the road to/from the park instead. It was snowing, so the road was a little bit slushy. Times: 2:25, 2:26, 2:23, 2:28, 2:25, 2:31, 2:25, 2:29, with ~1:25 rest between. Distance should be quite accurate; the climb is more of a guess. Didn't feel particularly fast, although my times look good for this time of year. |
