Sunday Mar 4

Running 51:00 [2] 9.6 km (5:19 / km)
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D (ret.)
Faster parts of the run -- while on the roads (slightly under 5 min/km pace) and heading back down the river.
Running 55:00 [1] 8 km (6:52 / km)
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D (ret.)
Slower parts of the run. Nice, warm morning. Ran up the river along nice snowmobile tracks to the first bridge. There weren't any tracks past the bridge, so I didn't carry on along the river. Went along the roads instead to the second bridge, where I saw some old tracks leading upstream. Followed them for a couple minutes until they ended at a large fallen tree. Then went back to the second bridge, along the roads to the first bridge, and back along the river. Took a bunch of pictures, and they're on my site.
Skiing 57:39 [2] 10 km (5:46 / km)
Around the long trail twice (28:49, 28:50). The trail was groomed and in good condition.
Skiing 12:04 [1] 1.4 km (8:37 / km)
To/from the trail.

Saturday Mar 3

Skiing 1:56:45 [2] 19.7 km (5:56 / km)
At Birds Hill PP. Good conditions, although open areas were quite blown in. Did the Lime Kiln trail, then parts of all the others. Route, pictures (password: oo00oo).
Cycling (stationary) 21:00 [1] 8.3 km (2:32 / km)

Friday Mar 2

Skiing 1:12:25 [2] 9.3 km (7:47 / km)
The trails were snowed in again. Went around the short trail twice (15:38, 14:12), then around most of the long trail.

Thursday Mar 1

Running 37:34 [3] 8 km (4:42 / km)
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D (ret.)
To town and back, then SE on the roads and back. There was some snow on the roads and it was still snowing. Was a bit sore in the middle but felt quite good by the end.
Cycling (stationary) 41:00 [1] 15.8 km (2:36 / km)
While considering Glen Valley route choices.

Wednesday Feb 28

Skiing 1:38:35 [1] 13.5 km (7:18 / km)
Around the long trail twice (36:20, 36:04) and around the short trail once (14:30). Still only had skier-made tracks, but they were pretty nice the second time around (except for one spot where I got a sticky bit of snow stuck to the bottom of my ski, and had to stop and scratch it off).

Orienteering 15:58 [4] 1.39 km (11:29 / km)
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D (ret.)
In the park. Didn't want a month without orienteering, so I figured I should do some today. Only did about half of what I had planned... too much knee-deep snow. Also, I had the dog with me and didn't want to worry about her bothering a couple skiers who were out.
Running warm up/down 21:29 [2] 4 km (5:22 / km)
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D (ret.)

Tuesday Feb 27

Running 18:00 [2] 3.3 km (5:27 / km)
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D (ret.)
Warm up.
Running intervals 19:32 [4] 5 km (3:54 / km) +70m 3:39 / km
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D (ret.)
Was going to do my usual route in the park, but decided against that when I saw that the parking lot hadn't been plowed. Ran back and forth along the road to/from the park instead. It was snowing, so the road was a little bit slushy. Times: 2:25, 2:26, 2:23, 2:28, 2:25, 2:31, 2:25, 2:29, with ~1:25 rest between. Distance should be quite accurate; the climb is more of a guess. Didn't feel particularly fast, although my times look good for this time of year.
Running 25:00 [1] 3.9 km (6:25 / km)
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D (ret.)
Jogging between the intervals and cooldown.
Cycling (stationary) 25:00 [1] 9.4 km (2:40 / km)
Looking at the Glen Valley map for 15 minutes, then spent 10 minutes working on a cross sums puzzle.

Monday Feb 26

Skiing 1:44:04 [1] 11.5 km (9:03 / km)
Around the long trail twice (47:49, 43:58), slogging through the deep snow.
Cycling (stationary) 42:00 [1] 15.7 km (2:41 / km)
While studying the Glen Valley map.
