Sunday Mar 16

Running 3:25:00 35 km (5:51 / km)
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D old
Up the river to the fourth bridge, along the roads to the second bridge, and back along the river. Faster going than usual with the firm, refrozen snow. All the slush and water I encountered on Thursday was solid again (though a bit slippery). There were nice ATV tracks most of the way, up to the 1 km section with a many areas of thin ice and open water just before the third bridge. No tracks past there. Stayed more or less on the river (didn't go up the bank) and managed to get through all the thin stuff with dry feet.

Saturday Mar 15

Skiing 1:15:00 [1] 10.5 km (7:09 / km)
Along some of the ski trails and other trails in the park, out the east side of the park, along the roads down to the river, and back along the river and lake.

Friday Mar 14

Skiing 3:15:00 32 km (6:06 / km)
At Sandilands, from the Red/Green parking lot, down Green trail to Black, around Black to Yellow, around the south end of the Yellow, complete Blue loop, straight back to the Yellow/Green/Black jct., north on Green to Purple, long way around Purple back to the parking lot, up the Red, around the loop and back, taking the ~1 km extension both ways. Conditions were still pretty good, though a bit icy. Was cautious on the hills and made it down all of them.

Thursday Mar 13

Running 1:40:00 17.5 km (5:43 / km)
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D old
The temperature had been above freezing since yesterday morning, so I went for a run rather than skiing like I had planned. Ran along the roads to the second bridge over the river, and back along the river. There was several inches of slush/water to run through in many places along the river, but the ice beneath held up fine.

Wednesday Mar 12

Running 1:05:00 [2] 12.5 km (5:12 / km)
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D old
Up the river 7 min past the first bridge, turned around and went back to the bridge, and took the roads back from there.

Tuesday Mar 11

Running 47:00 [3] 9.8 km (4:48 / km)
shoes: Salomon XA Pro 3D old
Roads to the first bridge over the river, back along the river.
