Memory score-O at Little Mountain Park. 0:59 map study, 1-26-25-24-23-22-20-21-5-4-3-2 in 13:27, 1:20 map study, 9-10-11-12-15-17-16-13-14-18-19-6-8-7 in 21:21, 0:46 map study. Looked at the map at the end to be sure I had punched in the correct boxes (the control number had to be memorized as well as the location) and to consider trying to find the mystery control (only a clue was offered as to its location), which I had forgot about. Did pretty well, only had to return to look at the map once, and didn't make too many mistakes: a couple little bobbles and a 1:30 boom when I turned right one trail too soon going from 19 to 6. Knowing the park pretty well (from past orienteering; I think it's the most used city park) was helpful... could be interesting to try memory-O in a less familiar park.

Down south and around the trails, and through the forest, west of timberland.

In the park, 2x285, 2x900, 2x285 on trails, then over to the hill and 2x eastern hill loop twice. Times: 59, 59, 3:30, 3:24, 59, 58, 2:37 (1:13+1:24), 2:50 (1:24+1:26). Not too bad for first intervals in a while. Was slowed down a very little bit by some snow on the trails and mud on the hill.

Down South, through timberland (lots of water there), and briefly down some trails west of timberland, on the other side of the main trail. Hadn't realised any trails were there until recently when Google got better satellite images of the area.

Around the park. Did the hill loop six times, avg 1:37.

Down South and around the main trail mile block. About 5 min/km on the roads, much slower on the muddy trails.
