Std downtown excursion in reverse. (Took/collected car from servicing). Up T Rd legs felt fairly tired for the speed I was going, but the shorter climb up M St later in the day was fine. Dist/time guessed of course.

Home block. Was going to be easy with high cadence but got into the swing so put a bit more effort than planned up the hill. Thought that I had 20sec standing at the start but the splits are odd. Garmin Connect shows a 20sec period of zero speed and moving time of 29:53. Anyway, reporting as seen: 0:06 (.0.0km); 8:06, 5:53, 8:47, 7:10, 0:15 (.01km). Whatever the right number was it was a good time for an effort of say 3.6 (maybe 3.8 up the hill). Cadence good at 162 av.

CSW event Central Park. Map 1:5000/2.5m almost unreadable. Pottered around from sunlight patch to patch. Distance was beeline by organisers. Fairly significant climb.

Lower Hutt Parkrun. Fine and cool (4deg). firly crowded at the start, and couldnt get watch to start recording. Started on halfway and recorded 13:5x for the second half. By subtraction the first half must have been about 15. Effort a bit under 4 praps 3.75, so pretty happy to be well under 30. Post-ribs PB is 27:32, that's the next target.

AW rogaine Brooklyn, most time spent in Polhill Reserve. With Simon Rea. Dist from MapRun, climb guessed. Not a great route/result, and missed a stream junction which would have given us 50pts. Physically good. Warm night in mid teens. Only a few spots, most time with jacket off.

Hydrabad North OY, Felt sluggish so not a lot of running. fairly clean but completely lost on one easy control. S/be 2min but was 10. Error was over-confidence with contours, but what i thought was a thin depression was the gap between two neighbouring hill systems. Dist beeline as per map. Sore back which has been troubling now much better.

Heights of Winter, Lake Clearwate, with Helen Nguteren. Nice time with partner not previously known. Was dreading weather/temperature but predicted rain stayed in the distance and temperature was fine (prob 5-7 degrees). About middle of small XSV field. Distance later.

Home block. Wild night w strong southerly, almost but not quite raining, 8 deg dropping to 5 later, snow forecast to 600m. Rugged up and felt quite comfortable, tho this run faces headlights for a km along SH2. Splits 8:27, 6:08, 9:23, 8:15. V similar to last Tue and Fri. Two weird dropouts of HR while running along the flat. Cadence av 158; was 163 rising to 173 down Wairere; 163-167 along the flat.
