Alternating 6mpk/8/6/8/6 intending to do 1km of each but got mixed up. Distracted by SOME DOG SHIT ON MY SHOES WHICH GOT IN THE CAR AND GOD KNOWS WHERE ELSE!!! Yes I am shouting. All grass, riverbank. Feeling good. Apart from feeling twds dog owners. Not every owner's fault, I know, but the solution is a collective responsibility of all owners, I reckon.

With new rogainer Ruth, Mt Albert. She ran much faster than I would have. But there were intervals for discussion. No injury probs.

Short stretch each 1km. Moving time 32:20. Feeling good. Maybe try a harder flat run on grass to overcome nervousness:-))

Hydrabad beeline distance. Don't believe the climb. Garmin says 6.1km/90m. Lots of thinnings reducing speed and visibility, so fast walk was pretty good. Hammies fine. Nav good. Tiring twds end.
