LH Parkrun. Sunny but v cool morning, was 6deg at home poss 4deg on valley floor. Gloved hands still cold at the end. Couldn't raise the motivation to push hard after NZ's disastrous relay results last night:-((

Eastbourne bush, with Simon Rea. Cold night, well rugged up but of course ended up too hot. Average result, 3rd among walkers but less than half the score of the good runners.

Usual downtown excursion, estd time. Bit of effort on the climbs (there was a roadie in front who blew me away, but he probably didn't have groceries in the backpack)
Orienteering race 25:42 [3] 2.7 km (9:31 / km) shoes: Vasque Mindbender
War Memorial/Massey Uni "sprint". Though how you can sprint when you have to stop to puzzle out the mapping. Star exhibit: 15 stone pillars in a space 20X12m. All individually mapped. (And green dot trees interspersed.) Faults not all with the mapper, tried to run fast instead of tackling the problems logically. Dist was presumably beeline.
