Jogged to Post Shop via Wairere Rd - stopped for coffee - jogged back home via Onehuka steps. HR based on counting pulse 120 or so. HR from watch 150 or so. Cadence from watch 150 or so. Adds to the ongoing suggestions that its not measuring heart rate!

Winter Classic on Colonial Knob (elev abt 400m). C2. Intended for M40 etc, and trophy for the course commemorates Wayne Cretney who was 40 when he died in a work accident. I was 40, too, dunno how long I can keep running this:-) No juice in the tank for the final little gallop round the delightful Spicer Reserve but (a) stomach on an even keel and (b) no discomfort from the knee which got a bang on Fri. Dist/climb as measured by Garmin. As given by course planner 7.1km/585m.
