Bathurst parkrun. My first outside my home course. Easy, see later. No trouble with back, writing this after returning from Oz, I can't even remember.

Oz Sprint Champs at Chas Sturt Uni in Bathurst. Bit of a hiccup in that SI-Air card failed to work in air mode (its had 18mths use) so had to stick it in the hole. Had a couple of senior moments early on, then came right, but at the finish somehow thought that crossing the line would be enough. After half a minute decided to put the stick in the hole just in case - and guess what - last split 30sec slower than everyone else!

Std downtown excursion. Actually rode around the civic centre a bit checking on construction.

Home block, fairly easy. Worried that hard surfaces might not help my back but so far its just the same. I think there's a steady improvement each day but very slight. Sleeping well.

Score event Tinakori Hill. Surprisingly short course so had to go out for a 2nd loop to get 3 awkward ones I had spurned first time round. Lower back sore since yesterday, better while/after exercise, not great after sitting
