Rogaining race 11:32:00 [4] 28.3 km (24:27 / km) +2500m 16:58 / km
shoes: Asics ex SP

Heights of Winter Rogaine 12hrs, with Gordon Balfour. Quite cold (-4deg driving there) but had OK gear (and some spare). Good nav, less good route choice, for 2nd MSV out of 3 (8th MV out of 11). Apart from weary in the middle no phys issues and feeling good after.

Running 30:00 [3] 4.0 km (7:30 / km) +140m 6:23 / km
shoes: Asics ex SP

Home block. Clear and cold. Easy effort 2.5ish. Watch went flat during yestdys run so time est rough. Splits abt 8, 6+, 8+, 7+. Selwyns shoes feeling good. (Note on state of batt, switched off tracking when I got the warning yestdy, and a day later plugged in and it says 15%. Surmise that the warning comes abt 20%, and I would get several days more as long as not tracking.

Running 1:02:00 [3] 8.0 km (7:45 / km) +140m 7:08 / km
shoes: Asics ex SP

Two bridges without hill tracks. Cold day and trying to drizzle but felt well rugged. Easy pace poss 2.75. Trying Selwyn's Asics O-shoes - though theoretically a size too big were comfortable.
