Home - Wairere - two bridges. Thought I might do a longer slow run but calves still a bit tight. Effort 2.8. Splits 9:48, 7:25, 9:00, 8:19, 8:09, 8:02, 10:16, 9:12, 1:16 (.13km).

Home block. felt good so pushed a bit and cut aprx 2min off each km cf Monday. Calves limiting factor, puffing a bit twds end of climb. Splits 8:35, 6:34, 9:53, 7:47, 0:20 (.02km). Effort praps 3.7. Abt 12:20 up T Rd.

Three bridges incl hill tracks to Hill Rd, reservoir but no BT, rtn E side river to Ewen Br, W side to Melling and home. T Rd 10:45 w 3.0 effort. Splits 10:37, 9:40, 5:36, 5:10, 3:50 incl wait for cars, 4:01, 2:45, 4:05, 3:51, 4:03, 3.22, 7:16, 7:31, 1:09 (0.29km)

Melling Stn carpark, west side of river to KGB and rtn east side. Splits 8:15, 8:40, 8:17, 7:11, 7:15, 5:18 (0.70km). H/s fine. calves felt tight to start but OK later and forgot about them. 2min faster than last time, s/be able to push a bit harder now.

Home block, 1st jog on this cct for a while. H/s's fine but calves felt tight. Praps just the change. Considered walking up T Rd but they were fine (14:30 I think). Splits 10:32, 8:24, 11:33, 10:28. Effort 2.5 I guess, thought it might be much faster than my best walk but only 90sec below!

Hill tracks to Hill Rd, straight down to KGB, eastern riverbank to Ewen Br, western side to Melling and home. Effort 2.5ish, maybe 3 up T Rd (11:10). Splits 11:23, 9:37, 6:51, 2:45, 3:44, 3:08, 2:45, 3:49, 3:10, 4:23, 3:38, 7:55, 6:56, 0:47 (0.16km). Fine and gusty. Compared to Monday 44sec/km faster though a bit of mucking round on Monday. But essentially 1.9km further in the same time. Left h/s niggly but forgot about it after a few km.
