Tahoe City to Alpine Meadows, up tevis to Scott's Peak. Almost rode into a bear cub. Turned around, told Jen about the cub so we sang some songs and made noise until it ran off into the brush. We did not see mama bear.
Scott's Peak down to Page Meadows, then up Ward creek to Stanford Rock/Twin Peaks with an epic descent on the East side of Stanford, out some trails near Ward canyon and back to Tahoe city on the paved bike trail.

Epic from my parents house. We rented Hei Hei 2-9er Deluxes, fun bikes and my first time on a 29er. Up to Sawtooth Trail to Mt. Baldy, down the powerlines, back to sawtooth, connection to Two Bridges, Schaeffer Creek to the base of the backside of Northstar resort, up dirt roads to the '06 road where we climbed to Fiberboard freeway to Watson Peak, down to rim trail on Watson Peak Single trakc (awesome downhill with banks and tech), Fiberboard to Mt. Pluto Climb (Ass kicker), steep descent to the top of the downhill park where we rode Big Tree and Knick Knack back out to Fiberboard, Tahoe Rim trail, hidden trail back to '06 and then 12 miles dirt raod back to Palisades and 2-3 miles pavement back to my house. bomber.
