Well, it was supposed to be 25F this morning. Chicken coop and heat pump said 30 so I dropped a layer before I left the house.

30F, 10mph NW wind with gusts.

bala, buff around neck, ls top, 2 pair tights, 2 pair wool socks, cool gloves, bar mitts. Perhaps 2nd pair of tights wasn't needed, otherwise ok, except toes. forgot to duct tape the shoe vents. Toes were starting to hurt by the time I got to work.

Cross-wind gusts with the bar mitts throws the front end around.

Knee is feeling better today. Not 100% but close. Hip has improved as well. Rolled upper legs and hip extensively with both foam roller and baseball yesterday and this morning. Used some topical on both last night.

Cycling (Commute) 59:38 intensity: (41 @0) + (24:15 @1) + (32:30 @2) + (2:04 @3) + (8 @4) 12.39 mi (4:49 / mi) +143m 4:39 / mi

29f NNW wind @ 6. Same clothes as this morning. But I tried to get inventive to keep my toes warm. I cut up an empty ghirradellis chocolate chip bag and wrapped my toes with it, between the 2 pair of socks. It's basically emergency blanket material.... I don't think it did much good though.

Home via FP and DeMun. Approaching Deer Creek I realized I'd forgotten my computer at work. Will make working from home tomorrow AM sort of difficult.

Major cramp in right calf while foam rolling. Worst in recent memory. Lower leg, ankle and foot were totally rigid. Full weight wouldn't budge it. Will see about lasting damage in the morning.
