Cycling (MTB on the road) 1:25:00 [3] 25 km (3:24 / km)
slept:6.0 weight:167lbs shoes: pearl cycle MTB
Was not at all motivated to get out of bed at 5:30 this AM, but it might be the last cool day in MO before september. And it was COOL. 50F.

Hill route out to Marshall. Felt a little sluggish.

Note

No ride today. Was planning to go at lunch, but had to take son to Dr for a bug bite w/a red rash encircling.... Probably just a local reaction, but can't rule out Lyme. Treating with a/b for 14 days.
Cycling 30:00 [2]
shoes: pearl cycle MTB

Well, I did get a ride in, but not what I was planning for today... Put the tag-along on the old 930 and cruised up to the Custard Station in downtown Kirkwood with Laura and Benjamin.

Forgot that I normally order a smalll cone and orded a 'regular' instead. The mountain of chocolate frozen custard simultaneously induced a hyperglycemic stupor, upped my cholesterol, and added a couple pounds of hard-to-lose abdominal fat...

After yesterdays 95F temps, this evenings 71F and low humidity is back into the perfect range. Back to the 90's and summer in STL next week....

Thursday Jun 7

Run 47:50 [3] 5.5 mi (8:41 / mi) +150m 4:59 / km

Glendale run.

Hip/Ham is really slowing me down. Was going as fast as I could without significant discomfort.

Warm out: 80F @ 8:30AM.

Supposed to be 98F today. May have to break down and turn on the AC for the first time this year. But it's only supposed to be 80 tomorrow.
