| Hike at Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. They'd had a lot of rain and the lake at the visitor center was flooded. Within about 100 meters of the trailhead, the trail was covered with about 6 inches of water and no good way to go around. Took my shoes off and waded to the other side. That water was coooold. Nice hike, but we had to be back to the ship by 3:15 so we had to turn around before reaching the glacier overlook. Water was a couple inches deeper on the way back.
Time and distance include some hiking at the visitors center. |

| Incline ranged from 2 - 7%. We were in the Gulf of Alaska and the swell was about 6-8 ft. Interesting running on a treadmill that's moving. |

We got a partial view of Mt. McKinley last evening and a full view this morning at about 4:30. It was the only clear blue sky we had on the whole trip and it only lasted about an hour. |
