Combination of trail run, control picking, and map reading @ Hawn. Felt quite good at the end.

One of the mapped trails that I wanted to use to get from White Oak trail loop accross creek to Whispering Pines wan't there anymore. Also, there are major changes being made to the Whispering Pines systems with new trail sections being cut and old sections being "restored".

BTW, FDF's are out, but not in large numbers yet.

Once again, the forecast was completely wrong.... started raining as I walked out the door. Decided the bus was better than getting soaked. Rode over to the bus stop in Webster, got off bus at first stop, rode the rest of the way. Not a long ride, but felt good.
Cycling (MTB on the road) 2:10:00 [3] 39 km (3:20 / km)

Home from work via old gravois bridge, then a tour through kirkwood, then some spining on grants trail to get up over 2 hours. Went pretty easy for the first hour. Picked up the pace for the 2nd. Did a couple of sprints on the way back up grants trail. Why is there always a head wind coming back up grants trail. Saw a ground hog sitting out on a wood deck behind a commercial building along the trail. Thought it was a statue at first. It was sitting up like a ground squirrel just watching people go by.

Slept like a log last night. Could have gone for a few more hours....

The little bit of soreness I had in my legs is completely gone today. Even stairs felt ok.

I'm still feeling tired, but good overall.
