Saturday May 24

Skills (course setting - ocad) 2:30:00 [0]
Took my computer on the camping trip with the hope that I'd get some time to lay out the courses for the Forest Park O-meet on July 5. It rained for a couple hours on Saturday. Planned 3 sprints and an Orange/Short course. Hopefully my computer will be revived so I can go check the courses on the ground.

Was limited for time and had wanted to do a longer run so upped the pace a bit. Intensity was about a 3.5. HR at finish was 132. Felt really good. A great morning for a run: 60F, overcast, breeze.

Going camping at Sam A Baker this weekend. There are lots of trails. Maybe I can get a 2-3 hour run in on Sunday....

In to work via Marshall. Lights were not so kind. Cool 52F at start. Warmed quickly with the sunshine. Tights were too much.

Cardio or strength? Breathing moderately at the top of each 4 flight set, but more of a leg strength work out.
28 floors. Was going to walk outside since it's a beautiful day, but it's really warm in the sun.

lunch time walking + 22 floors of stairs. The problem with trying to get any worthwhile exercise at lunch is keeping the effort low enough to avoid getting all sweaty.... the darned stairwells are warm.

A new all-time low weight, but that's because I didn't eat much yesterday. Stomach still feels a little tight this morning.

Home from Hawn today. Packing up the trailer isn't all that restful, but no cardio today. I woke early this AM with GI cramps and feeling lousy. Really tired. Took a 1.5 hour nap this afternoon and still feel pretty bad. Hungry, but eating causes discomfort... Hopefully a good night of sleep will help.
