In Ft. Walton Beach..... Arrived at the hotel about 00:30 and had to leave for the base at 06:00. Rains from Ida started about 10. Base closed down at about 2. Won't be open tomorrow either and Wednesday is a holiday. Get to stick around for an extra day to finish up the class on Thursday.

I'm too tired to call this a rest day.

Legs are a bit achey from yesterdays run. Tried running in soccer socks. Seemed to provide decent protection all the way up to the knees. Below the knees the legs are fairly clean. The quads and knee caps got pretty shredded going thru the green at 4, 5, & 6 and then coming out of #7.

Warm (78F) day, lots of sun. Some tough veg in areas.

Had to leave for home to catch a flight pretty quickly after finishing so don't know how anyone else did....
