Middle, Green, 3.3k, 200m, 1:10k, 5m contours.

Another nicely set course to complete the weekend.

Today was all about speed and clean nav. Solid run except for #10. Went as fast as I could given my fitness level. Felt better than expected after yesterdays hill-fest. The hills on Sat and Sun were very West Tyson-like but firm dirt instead of broken rock.

For the weekend was very pleased with my map reading and route execution. Stuck to plans and didn't second guess. Good job reading ahead on all the courses. All that time in the woods setting the Grunt was good for something.

Ankle brace bruised the lateral malleolus (lump on the outside of the ankle) yesterday. Annoying during warmup, but pain was displaced once i got out on the course....

Green course Yellowwood state forrest. 12th on course, 4th? AG.

Brutal course. 7.7k 450m climb.

As brutal as it felt, i did enjoy it. Control locations were, on the whole, nicely thought out and rewarded accurate approaches. Thank you for the multitude of water controls.

Reasonably clean but felt slow. No legs for running hills.

Made three mistakes, all fairly small. #4 - The biggest, added a good 500m distance and 25m of climb. Was off to the north and climbed spur. There was a trail, so at least it was easy going and the routed did provide a great attack point.... #6 - saw the control but though I hadnt gone far enough yet. Started to go by, but the control location was such that going past and having to come back would cost a lot of minutes. decided to go and check it out, just in case. #9 - Short leg, went right by the depression w/o seeing it. Hit my catching feature and had to work my way back.
