High HR... still in recovery mode. That said, I think the 161 max HR reading is bogus. I didn't do anything to get HR up *that* high.

ended up at urgent care last Tuesday. sinus infection went ballistic causing worst, unrelenting pain that I've experienced. out from work for another couple days. Much better starting yesterday, but still very tired. Hope to run a few miles tomorrow morning.

Flew with bman to LA on Saturday morning to visit Harvey Mudd College. It was a great trip. He has a really tough choice to make now. Happily, the plane trips did not exacerbate the sinus problem, and the lack of allergens in CA probably helped. Driving from LAX to Pomona sucked. 52 miles of solid traffic jams, on a Saturday. Don't want to do that again anytime soon. But the drive was a good reminder of just how big the LA metro area is and how small STL is by comparison.
