Don't know what to call this exactly, I decided to run some of the unmarked trails in Querdu Forest. Some/most of the trails dead-ended so instead of doing a 180, I took a bearing and bush-whacked to the nearest feature. I also decided to push the hills, so if they're a little further from the IGN topo map's locations now, it's my fault.

Tuesday Jul 31

Note
The only running I could do today were 20" intervals to the toilet and back. A nasty side effect from the meds used to get rid of gout...hopefully tomorrow.

Monday Jul 30

Note
Day 2 of gout. It miraculously got much better overnight. The traditional treatment finally kicked in. Skipped the doctor and the run today :-(

Sunday Jul 29

Note
The traditional remedies don't seem to be working. It looks like tomorrow I'll be going to the doctor for some heavy duty meds to get through this one. Probably have to have a blood test too. It's gotten progressivly worse as the day has gone along and I can't even walk now. My foot is swollen and hurts like the dickens. I took a codeine tablet to kill the pain, and hopefully be able to get some sleep tonight...
