Orienteering (Line-O) 1:41:27 [1] *** 6.85 km (14:49 / km) +126m 13:34 / km

I thought training was taking place at Saint-Aubin, which I found, but when I arrived, all I saw were hunters and signs saying that a hunt was going on. I imagine the training was canceled or moved...so I went to l'angevinais where I had done my first attempt at line-O and did the course again. This time it went much better. The section I boomed went more smoothly this time, still had some problems figuring out some of the stuff in that area though. I also made the same mistake at the termite mound...Just can't seem to keep going straight through the thick stuff. Surprised me to find controls still hanging in the forest. I wonder if they picked up the flags after the practice the last time?

Trying to get back into the rhythm,
Nice run, encouraging, I guess I was feeling a bit too frisky, and ran faster than I intended, but not too much faster. Foot held up OK, but still a bit tender. I was going to run tomorrow, but I'm going to let the cold settle down first. So nothing til this weekend if I feel up to it...

Trail Run (progressive) 49:31 [2] 9.22 km (5:22 / km) +70m 5:10 / km
ahr:141 max:191 rhr:52 slept:7.0 weight:76.4kg (injured)
Ran out to the Querdu Forest, and just ran around the trails, got most of them covered and headed back. Nice run. Kind of bent my left big toe back stepping on a root or something, which caused some pain there. A bit tender still, but I think it's going to be OK.
191 for max is probably a mistake...I haven't been in that range for years, and since my Desktop broke, I can't download my HR monitor info to take a look. I need a serial port adapter...
