Saturday Sep 6

Trail Run long (Map reading) 1:30:17 [2] ** 16 km (5:39 / km) +77m 5:31 / km
slept:7.0 weight:77.1kg shoes: Kalenji Kaptera XT
Long run progressive. Felt good, started out slow and each third of the run increased the pace. Managed negative splits and felt good throughout the run. Read the Caurel map 1:10000 while I ran. Detailed areas are really too small for me to read without some sort of magnification.

Thursday Sep 4

Trail Run tempo (5km tempo) 36:23 7.5 km (4:51 / km) +49m 4:42 / km
rhr:54 slept:7.0 weight:78.4kg shoes: Asics Trabuco IX WR
Didn't really know what I'd do today, but walking to the post office, I felt a twitch in my legs that said 'run fast today'...so when I got home I decided to do just that. Only it wasn't all that fast, but the effort was there. So it served it's purpose. I need to get the cobwebs out of the system and try to keep my pump primed better...i.e. more consistent running and more quality stuff.

Monday Sep 1

Trail Run intervals (fartlek) 44:42 ** 8.5 km (5:16 / km) +57m 5:05 / km
rhr:54 slept:7.5 weight:78.1kg shoes: Kalenji Kaptera XT
Nice Fartlek run around the lake, again while reading the map. 1:5000 this time. More difficult to read in zone's 4 and 5...but fun nonetheless. Average workbout ranged from 200m to 600m.

Sunday Aug 31

Biking (Family ride) 1:03:13 [1] 5 km (12:39 / km) +40m 12:09 / km
quick ride before lunch with J-L and Clémentine.
Biking (Family ride) 1:14:50 [1] 10 km (7:29 / km) +70m 7:14 / km
Second ride today...one to look for a J-L's lost glove...2, just because it'd be fun and it was Annouck's turn to take a tour.
