Didn't time the hills as well this week. Probably cut the warmup route too short, since I ended up running down a lot of hills at tempo or better.
Feeling kind of lethargic today...but it was a run where I beat the sun up. Long time since I've done that....nice feeling run.

Missed my run yesterday-partially because I was waiting for a package to arrive-but also because my left big toe has been more tender than usual. Today's run, doesn't bode well. Still sore during the run, with some ancillary pain in my right foot, and a tightness in my right ham. Going to have to be really careful the next couple of days.
Lost a VO2 point...:-(
Resting HR is a little elevated as well. Kids are sick- I'm going through symptoms-but not bad.

11:12 AM. Run.

Cruise intervals- 4x6'z4x1'i. Good run. Felt strong and fluid-. Cool run with a murder of crows refusing to fly off as I approached them. Later on the run, near the lavetoire, a hawk took off just in front of me and flew into a nearby tree. Beautiful bird-then near the twin lakes, another hawk took off as I arrived. Along the ponds egrets, herons and ducks took off as I ran by. Cool to see all of these birds.
The run itself was pretty even given the terrain. Each 6 minute workbout: 4:42, 4:36: 4:41: 4:39.
These HR zones seem more realistic for paces ran. My Garmin 235 is telling me I'm at a 53 VO2Max. Don't know how it is determining that. I'm not sure about the race prediction times. I haven't raced, nor do I think I'll be racing. Giving me sub 20' 5k times.

Nice morning for a run. Upper trail out and back. Comfortable run-Easy breathing and legs felt surprisingly good for 5 days in a row. Pace feels right for most zones now. Not too hard, not too easy.
