After watching the #breaking2 attempt this morning, there was no way I wouldn't go out and run. What an inspirational demonstration of the possibilities.
Didn't match their pace by a long shot, but the desire to find my possibilities was definitely there. Trail run on crooked but flat trails. Fun run.

Morning Resting HR is still elevated?!

Bottoms of my feet felt more tender today.

Woke up with an elevated HR by about 10 bpm. Restless night sleeping as well, so after my bike outing yesterday- and the ensuing butt soreness that followed, I wasn't sure how today would feel for my planned interval session...so I ditched it and just went out for a run. Glad I did. My legs had some tiredness in them, but that didn't seem to stop them from turning at a good pace, Despite that, I'm not sure they would have held up for 10K of fast running.

Going to try to work barefoot running into my quiver of activities.
Don't really know where to start, but read to build up gradually, and go no further than 200m the first time.
With the problem I have with my left big toe, I'm not sure how this is going to progress...slow and easy does it.

I thought it was fun. My butt however, started disagreeing with that assessment around Teillay. I still think it was fun, and we'll have to do it again.

My first inter-departmental ride! And the first time riding through other towns-reminded me of watching the Tour de France as they pass through the different villages, albeit at a slightly faster tempo.

Fun way to do an easy run. Got out a map of my neighbourhood I created almost a year ago and ran on it for a change. Not much of a challenge map-wise- but a bit of extra motivation, when motivation had been waning. Only pushed it on the last little hill home. Good effort.

Went back to HR limits on the watch for this recovery run. Wasn't hard to keep it within my recovery zone- except on the few climbs.
Left big toe is still bothering me today. Hard runs seem to trigger it.

Started out this run feeling pretty decent. I just keep getting better from that point on. Legs felt fresh and ready to run. I guess I was running so fast I had to look for distance to add to the end..
