Orienteering race (Cell Phone-O!) 25:00 [3] *

A really interesting orienteering variation with cell phones! Everyone runs the course in pairs, but only one person has a map and gives directions over a cell phone. I ran with Tori (she navigated first, and then we switched halfway through). It was pretty funny but we actually ended up doing okay and got 3rd overall.

2 "Figure 8" runs around the middle school & upper school, with 4 long hills.

About 5 miles' run (maybe a little less) with the team. We stayed off the track today because of all the snow.

Tuesday Feb 27

3 laps, footwork exercises, hurtle exercises, stretching.

800, then sit-ups, pushups, etc. Then faster running alternating with rest, then second set of situps & push-ups, 6 sets of stairs, then 20 min. run, then "20-20-20"'s.

Monday Feb 26

First day of track practice. Warmup was 2 or 3 laps and then stretching, then several footwork exercises like high knees, etc., then hurtle exercises.
Track practice ((main workout)) 40:00 [4]
Two sets of 800's alternating with sit-up & push-up sets, then 6 sets of stairs (4 floors each). Then 15 min. run, finishing with "20-20-20"'s (alternating fast running and rest).

Sunday Feb 25

Capture the Flag! 2:30:00 [3]

A great game of Capture-the-Flag with family and some orienteering friends. Not sure how good of a workout it was since I was in jail for a long time at the end, but it was really fun.
