Orienteering race 1:22:23 [3] *** 6.5 km (12:40 / km)
spiked:4/8c shoes: orienteering shoes
This was a goat-style race at Cle Elum Ridge, so there were 9 controls but everyone could drop one. I think I should have dropped the first control, which I had a lot of trouble on, but it was still a really fun run. The weather was beautiful, and I saw a deer early on in the course. There were also tons of fields of wildflowers and open forest. This is some of the best orienteering terrain in Washington.

Run 32:00 [3]
I tried out the run that Eric suggested. It was a nice run; I didn't know there were trails through the woods over there, so it was fun to explore.
Walk 10:00 [1]

Run 45:00 [3]
I tried out a new route today, and ran to Lake Forest Park. Turns out there was a lot of climb, though, and I ended up running straight up a giant hill and then down the other side. The route around it follows major roads that aren't great for running. Anyway, it was probably good hill practice.
C • i guess it is hill work today!... 3
Walk 11:00 [1]

Wednesday Jun 13

Run 25:00 [3]
I ran through the neighborhoods for awhile, and stopped at the park to run three hills.
Walk 20:00 [1]
