Saturday Aug 25

Note
Rest day today. I downloaded Catching Features, though, and played a few games, which was fun but I'm not used to the program at all so my character kept running into trees and getting knocked out....oh well :-).

Friday Aug 24

Run 1:37:00 [3] 9.5 mi (10:13 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
We ran to the beach and back. It was a pretty long run, but we made a few stops so it was nice. I'm pretty sore from this week, though!
Abs 5:00 [3]

Thursday Aug 23

Run 1:00:38 [3] 6.0 mi (10:06 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
We ran from school past Northgate & the community college, and then past the lake on the way back. The beach was blocked off because they're doing construction, so we couldn't go swimming!
Run 10:00 [3]
shoes: Oasics
5x accelerations, on the quad
Strength 10:00 [3]
3x wall-sits for 1:00 each, lots of plank variations, and a push-up pyramid starting at 8.

Wednesday Aug 22

Orienteering 24:16 [3]
shoes: Oasics
Map-memory run at the Bresemans' house after a NWFF meeting. It was really fun, but I was sooo bad at it! So...I found some of the controls by accident, to be completely honest :-).
Run 44:40 [3] 5.0 mi (8:55 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
At practice today we ran through the cross-country course from last year once fully, and then ran the last two miles or so again. There were lots of hills, so it was a pretty good workout.
Strength 5:00 [3]
Wade led a set of random exercises...a lot of them were yoga, then there were also some push-ups and a modified wall-sit type of exercise.

Tuesday Aug 21

Run 1:05:00 [3] 6.0 mi (10:50 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
We ran to Hamlin park as a team, ran three loops that are about 1 mile each, and then ran back to school. I think the loops are actually a little longer than a mile, so the distance is approximate. It was fun, because Hamlin is also an orienteering park :-).
Abs 10:00 [3]
"nifty nines" & a pushup pyramid...and I'm sore from yesterday's planks :-)
Strength 2:30 [3]
Wall-sits

Monday Aug 20

Run 1:05:23 [3] 7.0 mi (9:20 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
Today was the first day of cross-country practice. It was really fun (after we had to do this indefinite set of planks invented by Wade...:-)). We ran to Green Lake. I left the time running through waits at traffic lights, so it's a little slower than it should be. It was fun to see everyone again.
C • are planks the exercises for t... 6

Sunday Aug 19

Run 20:00 [3]
shoes: Oasics
Walk 25:00 [1]
shoes: Oasics
