Orienteering (Window-O) 22:00 [3] 2.6 km (8:28 / km)
shoes: Oasics
Window-O at Woodland Park. It was really fun, except that I started pace-counting for a 1:10000 map and it was 1:5000, so it took a little while to get used to it.
Run (jog) 30:00 [3] 2.0 mi (14:59 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
I jogged through parts of the upper Woodland X-C course with Tori, William, and Arianna. We stopped/walked/jogged, & cut off a lot of the course because we'd just been orienteering. There's a meet there this week, so we were trying to learn the course.
Soccer 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: cleats
Not as intense a game as last week, because the team we played against was much easier. We all switched up positions, and I ended up playing defense for awhile which actually turned out to be pretty fun.

Friday Sep 14

Run 15:00 [3] 1.5 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
Warm-up.
C • Hmm... I think I shall log my ... 1
Run race 20:43 [5] 5 km (4:09 / km) vdot: 47.8
shoes: Oasics
First cross-country race of the season. It was okay; the first mile felt really good & the hill around the 2nd mile point felt really long and slow. Overall it was fun, though.
C • Way to go! 2

Thursday Sep 13

Run 30:00 [3] 3.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
We jogged to Northacres, then ran 5x the short hill, then a loop through the park, then 5x the short hill again, and then back to school via the Haller Lake loop.
Strength 5:00 [3]
Planks & push-ups. Not as many push-ups as usual, because the first race of the season is tomorrow so my coach talked for awhile in the classroom and we all got uniforms, so we didn't have time to finish the push-up set. I'm sort of nervous for the first race, but hopefully it'll be fun :-).

Wednesday Sep 12

Run 51:00 [3] 5.0 mi (10:11 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
We ran to North Seattle CC and back. I lost my watch, so I used Tori's time.
C • Watch 2
Run 10:00 [4]
shoes: Oasics
3x hills behind the refectory.
Strength 15:00 [3]
3x wall-sits (1:30 each), planks, push-ups (Wade's partner push-ups again), 36 lunges, 150 heel walks.
Abs 5:00 [3]

Tuesday Sep 11

Run 30:00 [3] 3.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
Jog to the Meridian Park track & back. I lost my watch (probably in the ravine behind the school since we were pulling ivy out for environmental science...), so the time is a complete guess :-/.
Run 20:00 [4] 3.25 mi (6:08 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
Pacing workout on the track. It seemed pretty hard today...we ran 4x 800 at ~3:00 (mine were usually a couple of seconds off, so probably around 3:02-3:05), and 2x 800 at 3:10, with a couple of 200's in between. There was rest in between, but the 20:00 is just the total running time w/o breaks included.

Monday Sep 10

Run 1:13:00 [3] 7.0 mi (10:26 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
I ran to Green Lake & back with Natalie.
Strength 15:00 [3]
Wade's [painful] partner push-ups, then wall-sits & lunges.
Abs 5:00 [3]

Sunday Sep 9

Note
Rest day (& senior retreat).
