Run 1:15:00 [4] 4.5 mi (16:39 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
We ran to the Meridian Park track & then did lots of silly sprinting exercises (the XC coaches told us it would be 'boot camp' today...). Anyway, I was super tired (from getting about 3-3.5 hours of sleep), so I took the bus back, which was amazing :-).
C • An amazing bus? 3

Thursday Sep 27

Run race 20:39 [5] 5 km (4:08 / km) vdot: 48.0
shoes: Oasics
XC race at Lincoln Park. It felt a lot better than the last race there, but my time was just a few seconds faster. The long hill seemed much easier this time.
C • WOW NICE RACE!!! 1
Run warm up/down 10:00 [3] 1.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Oasics

Wednesday Sep 26

Run 55:00 [3] 5.0 mi (10:59 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
Light run to N. Seattle & back to school; we have a meet tomorrow, so it was a low-key day. The time's a guess.
Abs 10:00 [3]

Tuesday Sep 25

Run 1:20:00 [3] 5.0 mi (15:59 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
We jogged to Northacres & then jogged one warm-up loop through the park. Then we ran 5 short hills, jogged another loop, ran 5 more short hills, jogged another loop, and ran 5 more. We jogged back to school via Haller Lake to add a little more distance.
Strength 20:00 [3]
Wall-sits (3x 1:45), planks, and a really painful push-up set...it was a pyramid starting with 10 and working down to 1, which is normal, but in between each set we were supposed to hold our arms out for :30. It was a lot harder than I thought it'd be. Then we also did 16 push-ups at the end since it was Remi's 16th b-day :-).

Monday Sep 24

Run 1:00:00 [4] 10.8 km (5:33 / km)
shoes: Oasics
9x laps around the Horizon View reservoir with the team. The distance is approximately 1.2 km per lap; I'm not really sure. Anyway, 2x warm-up laps, then 5:00, 5:10, 5:23, 5:37, 5:00, 5:00, and one more cool-down lap. There was also some amount of rest in between each; enough to feel pretty good before starting the next set.

It was a beautiful afternoon, so it was great to get out and run in the park rather than through the streets. It was a harder workout, though.
C • I'm actually kind of sad I ... 4
