Run race 20:26 [5] 5 km (4:05 / km) vdot: 48.6
shoes: Oasics
XC race at Lakewood. It was fun but pretty cold out & drizzling. The start was a little chaotic since there were so many people in the race; it was kind of frustrating because it was hard to pass...and this one girl kept cutting me off, haha...oh well. Inglemoor & Bothell went (so Kelsey, Ryan, Anna, & Matej were there), which was great because we usually don't run at the same meets since they're bigger schools.

Soccer 15:00 [3]
shoes: cleats
I couldn't play very much in the soccer game (because of the knee), which was too bad since it was our traditionally rival team & it's always a good (but rough) game.

Friday Oct 5

Run 1:00:00 [2] 5.0 mi (11:59 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
Really nice slow run to Hamlin, around the park a couple of times, and back to school. My knee felt fine! There's a meet tomorrow so it was an easier day. It was awesome to have a low-key Friday :-).

Wednesday Oct 3

Run 1:00:00 [3] 7.0 mi (8:34 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
Really weird run around Green Lake w/ a lot of doubling back. I decided to run on my knee, which was silly and not much fun. Tomorrow I guess I'll cross-train.

Run 49:30 [3] 5.0 mi (9:53 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
We ran to North Seattle CC & back. My left knee still hurts, so I'm going to cross train tomorrow :-(
Strength 10:00 [3]
Planks & push-ups.
Abs 10:00 [3]

Monday Oct 1

Run 1:20:00 [4] 7.0 mi (11:25 / mi)
shoes: Oasics
We ran to the Ingraham track from school. After two warm-up laps around the track, we ran 3x 1200 (at 4:30), then ran around Haller Lake and back, then ran 1x 1200 (4:39), 1 (or 2; I can't remember)x 800 (3:01), and 1x 400 (1:21). Then we ran back to Lakeside.

It was a pretty hard day, & my left knee hurts which is frustrating...and the coaches announced that the 'word of the week' is "suffer", haha.
