Orienteering race 1:16:55 intensity: (59:11 @1) + (15:07 @2) + (2:35 @3) + (2 @4) 5.21 km (14:46 / km) +320m 11:18 / km
ahr:94 max:139 shoes: Inov8 X-Talons 220

Big mistake was catching 6 minutes on Pat, then trying to be clever and cut across the reentrant to the bolder on the spur. Too low so lost 4 minutes looking for it. Then though Pat had gone down the hill so raced down to try to catch him. -180 degrees. Lost 50m height and 250m in wrong direction.

Lost 2 minutes at 10 and 30 sec at 13 but rest pretty good.

Ended 15 min behind Ian and 4 seconds behind Pat. :(



But 2 days, no DSQ and 1 really bad control!

Lower back pain at bottom of spine. Very uncomfortable. Next day pain spread across muscles and had 2 sessions of physio.
