Took it easy mostly walking. Left hip was quite sore so slowed a lot by the end. 15 min behind at half way and 45 minutes behind at the end. Lots of slips with my walking shoes so body is stiff today.

Not good. Took wrong route choice to 1 - the straighter route but with more nav and no compass! Got to top road then eventually found it. 2 was easy then 3 just straight up a hill then back down exactly from whence we came. Slog to 4 with lots of boulders that are not on the map. Finally found it the same time as Brian. Then none of us could find 5 (it was quite far misplaced) and went onto 6 as a group. Heather caught us and said she found 5 so we all went back down.

Rather frustrated left hip was sore, there were stones in my shoes and thorns in my feet. I had tripped earlier and had no compass. I sat down under a tree and cried for 5 minutes. I think I need new shoes. So called it a day and walked home.
