GOC Long

I had a great run. It was an awesome area after yesterdays map. I started off comfortably and got into the map. The first half was good almost spiking the first ten. I caught nine minutes on Craig by numba ten. The Veld was really runnable and I kept a good pace, running straight and sometimes joining with roads was the best route I think. IF it wasnt burnt it could have been a different story. I lost a couple of seconds at some of the controls but no mistakes bigger than 30 sec. It was very easy cos u could see the features from quite far. The last two controls were tricky in contrast to the rest of the course and was just a bit indecisive. I ran WITHOUT a compass. I think that was gud as i was more focused on the map and the rocks were a bit magnetic. I enjoyed it.

M21 Short

Ran with the big boys. The orienteering was ok but it was hard running. My time was slower than my time for the 5.5km Western Cape champs.

Was trying to break 20 minutes. It was a good run. After the race both my calves seized up so I think I pulled them.

RAC Time Trial

Started off running easy. The first half was good and relaxed. I pushed up the hills on the second half. I thought my time would be slower so happy about the result.

Had a good stretch afterward.
