| I gave in to my sickness today and went to the doctor. Ends up I have stupid bronchitis. At least it explains why I've been struggling all week with my breathing and all of my activities seemed more challenging then they should be. I was starting to get a complex. |

| Day 2 at Tremblant required more work to find the fresh powder, which meant that I was following James even deeper into the forest to find the hidden spots that no one else had skied. He also taught me the boxing technique to get through the bushes. Thank goodness I got a helmet for x-mas because many branches whacked my noggin. Very fun but a lot of work climbing out of little valleys and river beds to get back onto the main trails. |

| I know downhill skiing would not normally be a level 3 activity but when there is a ton of fresh powder and you're following James (who is normally out west backcountry skiing every ski season) through the glades it's super tough work. Beautiful day up at Tremblant and there were no lines what so ever. We did mogul and glade runs all day then went to bed at 8. |

| Karl, Sher & I strapped on the snowshoes and headed out to the new healey cabin for lunch. I offered to carry all the gear thinking that my pregnant friend might be slow but she set a mean pace. Next time she's carrying her own damn water :) The last time I was up in the gats with these girls was in grade 5 and my mom got us totally lost on one of her x-country ski adventures. Things went much more smoothly this time. |

| Dave was tapering for a race on the weekend so he took it 'easy' on us. I really struggled the entire workout and hung out at the back of the pack. I've been fighting a cold but refuse to cut out any fun activities during march break. Turns out skate skiing when sick is not very fun... |
