Running (trail) 2:10:00 [2]21 km (6:11 / km)
Long and slow group trail run from P17, out to Lac Phillip and up and over the Hochimin trail.
Running race (road) 20:44 [4]5 km (4:09 / km) vdot: 47.8
National Capital Race weekend. La Femme and I filled in for two of my students that could not make the 5km race. Almost 7000 people in the race so it was pretty slow for the first km until you could get some room. I didn't have much desire to push early on as I was feeling a wee tired from my morning run but I did do a great sprint for the last km. Placed 4/390 in my age group and 26/3819 out of the women. La Femme had a great time of just over 22min.

Biking (mountain) 2:30:00 [3]
La Femme and I hit the trails in the gats for the first time this year. Nice ride but the bugs were out in force.

Thursday May 22

Biking (road) 1:20:00 [2]
Off to a meeting at the board office and then to work. Not as much umph as usual in the ride as I was not in any rush.
Running (road) 15:00 [3]
Quick run home after dropping off my car at the shop. Time to get the snow tires off. Although we did get a huge hail storm today during my high school soccer game.

Wednesday May 21

Biking (road) 1:00:00 [3]25 km (2:24 / km)
Legs were heavy today after the run but it was late enough that I was dying to get home from work for some food.

Tuesday May 20

Running (trail) 50:00 [5]
Today's group trail run took us up up up and around the wolf trail. I did a much better job of pushing hard the whole time. Maybe just a bit too hard at the start as I did need to walk up the last rocky hill after the lookout but I recovered nicely on the way down, catching back up to Mr Mo with my killer downhill technique. I was spent at the finish.

Orienteering 2:17:00 [2]
Not my day out there. Might have been a little hungover from my friend's wedding the night before but I just think I was overwhelmed with the course. Too many cliffs & boulders, and not enough catchment features for an intermediate orienteerer such as me. I was running low on patience and time I ended up cutting out some controls in the middle and going for a little trail run instead to meet up with the last few controls.
