LAOC Echo Park Score-O event. I decided to go to the southwest portion of the map to see the reopened Echo Park Lake. I'd never been down that way before at this event, so it was something new. I kept up a good pace and decided near the end that I could potentially get the big bonus for visiting the Zone control in each of four zones. I made it to all of the zone controls, but was three minutes overtime. This was definitely worth the penalty considering the points I racked up doing it. Very excited to discover that I come in fourth overall, third individual. That push at the end made a big difference.
Lost some time in the middle of the course when we couldn't find that answer to the question and Eugene Kiperman and I debated for a while. I took a picture of this thing that we based our answer on and we picked something. I think I was counted incorrect though. I'm not sure that original answer still exists in that location?
Brought some students from my school with me. They went as a team and seemed to have a good time. It wasn't exactly what they expected though. Some thought there would be more people.
