Rode out to Gardens via Waitoki. Really wasn't feeling it today, pretty flat. Wind was a slight battle into it the whole way but wasn't too strong, ass really numb.

Almost got hit by dumb bitch in Helensville, pulled out of a park right in front of me without looking, was mm from hitting her after jamming on the brakes and skidding sideways, couldn't turn wheel otherwise would have hit her towbar, then managed to pull out and get next to her (she was going really slow as well) and kicked the car - leaving a nice dent and almost sending me off onto the footpath.

Note

Whole lot of CBFness after exam, mainly due to lack of sleep

What a cracker day, tried going a bit more causal to enjoy the sun, down to village and back up to East Coast Rd, detour down Rodeo Dr, then along Awanohi Rd to SH17, up hill to Riverhead-Coatesville Hwy, then down O'Brian Rd onto Ridge Rd, took another detour Glenmore Rd and back, then carried on along Ridge Rd for a bit, turned around before it started going mainly downhill, then backtrack to SH17 (nice along here, flatish easy rolly stuff). Down SH17 to Albany Heights Rd, Lonely Track Rd, Fairview Ave and Oteha Valley to home.

Rode from Luge, back along East Coast Rd, down Wilks Rd then along past aerodrome and out to SH17, then up Green Rd, along Potter and then onto Kennedy Rd (got up to 68 km/hr before shitting my pants from a wind gust) back along SH17 to Bawden Rd and through to ECR, then under motorway and up Wright Rd (which is much easier in the other direction) to Albany Heights Rd onto Lonely Track Rd, down Fairview Ave and along Oteha Valley to home.

3 fairly ok hills in that plus a couple of killer sharp ones as well.

Had physio again this morning, shins now sore in mainly 1 spot (just above ankle)
