Easy ride on Luce Line.
I noticed that the ride seemed harsh relative to Sunday's ride... and of course realized on Sunday I was riding my full-suspension bike.... lesson learned.
Had hernia repair on the 9th. Went back to work a week later on the 16th. A full day at the office was tiring -- I was sore by the end. The 18th was a long day starting with work meetings at 7am, and ending with Mill City Opera (Tosca) until 10:30 pm. I was exhausted when I got home, groin was tired. But now it is the morning of the 20th and I feel good.
Also met with the surgeon yesterday and he said I can run and bike as long as it feels good. Will ponder that this weekend.
My weight is down, which is good. Just hope its not all lost muscle mass.

No Name 99. Given that I have a hernia at the moment, I took it easy and just followed CB and Luke. We weren't too far behind some fast people. A great night. Pretty good course too. There weren't a huge number of route choices, but there were some.
Garmin says I momentarily got over 30 miles an hour toward the end... and that is on my very old mt. bike.
Nice to do this long ride just before surgery on Wednesday. Need a good run Tuesday night now.

Had to reset garmin... Time to Reevaluate heart rate zones. Max in last few months was 174, resting this morning was 52. Zones now...
And I now have a hernia... Need surgery.... Will try to do ASAP since I would rather be active in fall than summer heat. Luckily I had already decided to hang up my circus tights, as I would have to give it up for at least a couple months anyway. Still a mess.
