Got off the plane on Sunday and Boston and drove directly to the meet. They tried to talk me into doing the relay. I chose to do the advanced course instead, and glad I did. The technical terrain required walking much of the way. If I would have done the relay I would have tried to go faster and that would have been a disaster. As it was I still had one blowout control that took 15 minutes and should have been more like 5. That said, it was otherwise a beautiful park and nice day to be out there (even with a bit of rain).

TC 10 miles.
Been a long times since I did a race with 10,000 people. They have the logistics worked out pretty well, but at times I felt like a sheep or sardine.
I've been injured, so I walked the significant uphills. Also walked a bit toward the end as my right Achilles was not happy. Even with that, I was much faster than I was expecting, most of which I attribute to the 44 degree temperature. A great experience overall.
