Grand Traverse 16.1 mile (actually 17 miles as far as I'm concerned)

Beautiful course. But also the toughest first 14 miles I've ever done. I had a hard time believing the results from last year... now I believe. Great weather. It was 55 to 60 'degrees and very cloudy, misty at times.

Parts of this course would be dangerous on a rainy day. Boulders, rock faces and boardwalks were slippery when wet.
