3 mile warm up before 10k race, and walk it off at the end to hit 10 miles. It was really supposed to be a 10 mile training run, but I ran the 10k about as fast I could without hurting myself, so I call that part a race.
It's been many years since I did 10k on pavement. It was a good enough experience I might do it again. There about 20 people in the 5k and 15 in the 10k, so small crowd. Second place in age group.
