Started slow and unsure of myself, i didnt want to have any big errors so I was makign sure to be safe and hit safe attackpoints, no mistakes was the gameplan. Felt very tired and sluggish going to #2, had to walk to #3 up the hill, slightly too high for #3, lost time on #4 the map was pretty dodgy I think. I wasnt sure to go left or right to #6, but went right as I felt I'd feel safer that way and there were plenty of features to tick off. slow into #9, i'd was getting scared. Went slowly to #11 as well, still scared and i wanted to be safe. Going to 12 was the first time i started to run hard but even then i was still constantly checking the map, I knew there was the potential to blow it over the last few. I was pretty scared of #13, I had trouble matching it all up and went slowly. Disaster after the last control, no tapes and the contour of the hill was slightly out, when I hit the path i nearly went to the other control on the path bend. so my 11 sec lead over Nick disappeared into negative 1 second.

running on the crags, bringing back lots of memories of last winter up there with Linné. Such a beautiful area up on top with views every direction! So quiet and not a soul around or a sheep. Still not 100% but at least ive recovered a brave bit.
