| thought id wear a binbag on top of full orienteering gear to try and get ready for czech. As I warmed up for the 20mins before people were coming in staring at me, one girl just burst out laughing. Between that and not drinking in the last 5mins I was starting to totally loose concentration when I gave 100% effort. My body felt really great this afternoon as if I can just keep going faster and faster, just like wednesday. I want to remember this feeling and try to always feel like this.
Question of today, there was a girl at the class who I use to just exchange pleasantrys with. I havent seen her in maybe a year, she was always thin, but now she looks extremely anorexic, I was nearly going to say something to her, but then I dont even know her name, all I do is small talk, what should I do? Say something to the class instructor who also exchanges pleasantries with her? Anyway I had been feeling bad about not training much this week, but turns out my body needed the rest. Now I am BACK IN THE LOOP!!!!! | ||

| decided to try and take this fast and cleran but not totally push the whole way. started fast, too fast going to number 2, over the bridge, didnt see the path junctions, I was basically feeling too fast and running like Micro. The scale was out on the map and it took me 100m to realise how fast I was covering the ground, hoppsan!
Number 3 was a disaster, I got to the edge of the circle and doubted myself. It was totally unfair, the map was wrong all around it, with another unmarked ditch on the hillsie that was the same size as the mapped one. I was scaring Ciara who arrived at the scene then with my cursing in Swedish. After 4 I ran as hard as I could, but only the white was green!!! I had to walk and climb over the trees which makes my split more impressive when others took the path. The next bit was fine, I was experimenting going out into the fields and staying on paths longer than normal where I would run straight, keeping a higher speed. The results have been intresting. Sometimes it was better sometimes it wasnt. I need to think more about this when im picking route choices and experiment more. The rest of the course wasnt too exciting, although I did serious curse the map in places for being so wrong. Leaving the 2nd last control I could see Adam Weir who was legging it to the last control and I put my foot down, as did Adam. We had a fght for the last control, which I punched first, but the crowd of 40 at the top of the hill cheered on Adam as we sprinted up, I was expecting him to pass at any second, no-one cheered for me :o( instead accusations were thrown at me that id followed Adam and thats why I was so fast... winsplits | ||
