Run 45:00 [2]
Not much of a run performance-wise (Got an upper back spasm that forced some serious walking- WTF), but I love the trails right out my door at the new place. Can't wait to explore them more.
Had to see if I can run before BPMR. I used to ramp up my mileage about 10% per week. I'm guessing I did about 5 km today :-(
Fortunately we now have something called Trump math... I saw a version on SBH's new series "Who is America" (which is hilarious and incredibly sad at the same time)
So I bump my 10%/week to 12% which is doable.
Now I just convert weeks to days (Beauty of Trump math is you can substitute whatever suits your current need)
14 days @12% increase a day brings me right in around 22 km which I believe is the distance required on foot.
The real benefit comes after the race. When I get out of Hospital I just substitute weeks for minutes on my rehab schedule and I'm back in business that afternoon!!
I now understand why he was elected!! :-)
