Did the Saturrday crossy, 4ks along the lake shore from regatta point. Not as big a turn out as last week. Managed to keep in front of trev and could see scotty vanishing into the distance. halfway split was 7.14

Tour de Pete. Big peloton of eight annoyerd a few cars. Split in the bunch for coffee between the marxists and the sfoglodytes.

Bilbies hill intervals on the north Lyneham crescents as they hadn't turned the lights on at the ovals. 12 reps, but the hills are quite short

Hilly lunchtime run to try and get some training in around a 2 day workshop at work. Down to lake and then back via the crackenback and little black mountain loop climbing up to the saddle at the end. Crackenback felt a lot easier than last time I did it.

Back to civic swamp for bilbys swim squad. Think I've slowed down a bit with only going once a week at the moment, had to reach for the flippers when coach gabmeister cranked up the 100m reps to 1:50

Slow run over Hackett Hill, high track through Campbell Park then up the "kokoda" track to mt ainslie. About 12 km I think. Pulled up well after yesterdays run. Tried a Gu at the top of Ainslie to see how it went. Flavour is something called Tri-berry perhaps aimed at triathletes as I wouldn't like to say what the three berries are, but no bad aftertaste with a few gulps of water and definitely better than half melted jelly penguins. Also tried new v.expensive thorlo socks bought as post-race treat yesterday,
