Bilbys warm up 50:00 [2]
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS7

Running intervals 38:00 [4] 6.0 km (6:20 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS7

Bilbys intervals. Thursday used to be the easy day, but not at the moment - today was 8x 600m then 6x200m 200m recovery between each. It was quite humid and was still recovering from a sore throat and cold so was a bit sluggish again. Splits: 2.17, 2.11, 2.13, 2.17, 2.17, 2.20, 2.21, 2.24, 46, 46, 46, 46, 44, 45. The track has got a bit rough, more like a cross country at the moment.

Running intervals 30:00 [4] 5.8 km (5:10 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS7

Bilbys intervals. Was a bit flat after swimming last night and had picked up a slight sore throat, so made it a slightly easier session than usual. The set was 4x1k, 3x600m with 200m recovery between. Splits; 3.57, 3.57, 4.00, 4.04, 2.22, 2.23, 2.28. Was running a few lanes out so using that as an excuse for the slow ks. Track looks in much better condition after a bit of rain. Spent half an hour talking triathlons after and forgot the warm down.

Swimming 1:30:00 [4] 3.25 km (27:42 / km)
shoes: speedos

Bilbys swim squad. Another long session, but was good to get through it all, and was at the front of the lane the whole time. The new goggles I bought last week have some kind of anti-fogging coating. This is unfortunate as the band-aids, hairballs and unidentified floating objects are now clearly visible, however with three lanes of swimmers churning the water, the sediment from the bottom soon got resuspended and visibility was back to lake burley griffin standard.
