Bilbys intervals. Small turnout and pretty cold with it until the sun came out for a bit. Felt a bit sluggish but managed to hang on to the whippersnappers for the first four reps. Set was 6x600, 200easy, 6x 300, 100 easy. Splits, 2.16, 2.06, 2.08, 2.10, 2.18, 2.17, 1.09, 1.11, 1.10, 1.11, 1.13, 1.14.

2 bridges run -Perth style. running off some of the wine from the conference dinner, so was a bit slow to start, but picked it up a bit after ten minutes or so. Still lots of debris from the air race on the south bank.

Easy run to and from the pool

Went for a morning swim at a pool a few ks away from the hotel, was quite pleasant running through the city first thing. The pool was quite old and they'd imported a few hair floaters to remind me of civic. Reckoned it must have been shorter than 50m or my pace has increased a bit as breaking 30 min for 1.6 is pretty good for me.

In Perth for a conference so did a long run round swan river and then into kings park. Quite a few early punters putting their tents up for the red bull air race. Could have done with more hills in preparation for the triple tri, but did find a steep little hill that looks suiatble for a few hill reps at some point. Was warming up quite a bit by the end, had the luxury of doing a few stretches in the hotel pool after.
